Rhea Solutions shortlisted for the prestigious Scottish Business Awards
Glasgow based firm, Rhea Solutions, has been announced as a finalist in the Scottish Business Awards 2014. The firm has been nominated in the 'Female Entrepreneur of the Year' category at Scotland's biggest cross-industry business event. This award category identifies female entrepreneurs running outstanding businesses and those who are providing impetus and inspiration for other women in business.
Chandini Paterson, the CEO of Rhea Solutions, says 'I am absolutely thrilled and honoured to be nominated for this award. We are one of the very few IT companies (and the only female CEO of an IT company) that has been nominated in the Scottish Business Awards. This in itself makes the nomination that much more special to me. Actually winning the award on the night would of course be fantastic and a dream come true.'
The Scottish Business Awards 2014, sponsored by Virgin Money, is attended annually by more than 1,600 people from the business community and has developed a reputation as the premier event in the business calendar. The Awards were created to celebrate those who are building and leading successful, growing and dynamic businesses in Scotland. The awards aim to recognise their effors, vision and ambition to inspire more entrepreneurial activity within Scotland's business community.
There are 7 other nominations in this category, with companies ranging from the hospitality sector to accountancy. The companies nominated in the 'Female Entrepreneur of the Year 2014' category include:

The winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony that is to be held on 12th May, 2014 at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC). Sir Richard Branson will open the awards and also take part in an open Q&A hosted by legendary journalist and news presenter, Alastair Stewart. The evening will be hosted by internationally acclaimed comedian Michael McIntyre.
