IT Firm Rhea Solutions to Donate the Equivalent of a Trained Counsellor to the NSPCC with Every Christmas Sale
The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) reports that Christmas time is a busy period for child-focused charities, with over 50,000 calls being received by ChildLine between Christmas Eve and the 4th of January last year. For this reason, Rhea Solutions has promised to donate £5 to the well-known charity with every purchase of a licence to use their Helpdesk software. The company hopes that their gesture will encourage customers to make a pledge, as well as raise a significant sum directly.
Rhea Solutions’ founder, Chandini Paterson, explains why the company felt it was important to support the NSPCC over the festive period:
‘Here at Rhea Solutions we appreciate the fact that, for some children, Christmas is not as special as it should be. We have all enjoyed tremendous fortune in our lives, and believe that it’s important to remember that not every child will enjoy the same privileges. We hope that our donations will help to support abused and neglected children during what can be a particularly tough time of year’.
